The Olivia Act- Nominate a family for a free session

Since I follow many photographers on FB my feed was peppered with posts this morning of photographers who are donating a free family session in honor of Olivia, one of the victims of the Newton tragedy. Her family had gotten family photos taken not long before the tragedy and I'm sure values those photos all the more. One photographer who heard this started The Olivia Act Facebook page and a challenge for other photographers to donate a session to a well-deserving family. This spoke to me as I would like to do something small to help.

I know since last Friday we have all said many prayers for the families in Newton and also prayers thanking God for our own families. We've been reminded of what's most important in this life--our family. I would love to do my part and take photos of a well-deserving family so they can have something they can hold and look at to remind them of their most valued relationships.

If you know of a family who has lacked the time or means to get professional photos and would like to nominate them, please email me at tiffanyharston@gmail.com. Please include their name and contact information and a brief summary of why you thought of them. The deadline for nominating is December 28th. The winning family will get a 30-minute session sometime in January and a CD of edited photos.

Utah Wedding Photographer- J Wedding

I had the privilege of being a second photographer with Tara Winsor at a wedding in Bountiful, Utah and had a blast. It was freezing and windy that day but the couple did great.

Utah County Portrait Photographer- G Couple

This couple was introduced to me by a mutual friend and I'm so glad! They are dating long distance and just wanted some fun photos together while they were together in Provo. They were so laid back and we had a lot of fun together joking and walking around downtown Provo. They also braved the cold after a winter storm. I showed up in my warm down coat and they were both in short sleeves. So brave!

Utah Family Photographer- D Family

I had so much fun doing a bunch of family photo shoots this fall with the beautiful colors and this family was one of them. I love the idea the mom had to announce a new addition to their family.

Utah Family Photographer- G Family

I was acquainted with Melissa a years ago and we moved away from each other. It was nice to see her and her family again- and oh how they've grown! We had fun doing some posed shots and a lot of candid shots (which usually are my favorite and end up being clients' favorites too.)

Utah Family Photographer- S Family

Loved photographing this cute new family. Again you will notice it is in one of my favorite places- Paul Ream Wilderness Park in Provo. Such a beautiful location!
